Equipment included exhaust chimneys from ITB with Ziehl fans mounted in the ridge, sequenced and controlled via the Qfarm livestock controller.

Ventilation is by means of 92 TPI side inlets, operated by 2 DeGier GW20 Drive Systems with battery failsafe

Ventilation also includes Gable fans from Gigola Ricardi, controlled automatically by the Qfarm livestock controller.

Lighting is provided by Hato LED lamps mounted into the IUL fitting with individual lane switching and dimming via the Climatec control panel.

Window control for daylight into the broiler houses are via 4 GW30 DeGier Drive Systems which operate a pipe drive to open the window covers, as well as the summer inlets during extreme hot weather conditions.

Climatec control panels are bespoke, designed and built in-house for each individual customer. The integral Pola Qfarm livestock controller controls fans, inlets, all drive units, heating system and lighting, with feedback from internal and external temperature, CO2, Rh and Nh3 sensors. Time clocks for lighting, window operation and feeding are all set by the Qfarm controller. The control panel has individual switching control for equipment with a manual override if required.

An alarm system incorporating a Pola CLT12 temperature stat and HP29 ventilation surveyor has been built into the control panel, together with a separate alarm which monitors the electrical phases giving an alarm when experiencing a drop in voltage. The Pola Qfarm Cloud has also been installed allowing access and control remotely from a pc, tablet or smart phone.

Performance on-site immediately exceeded that of the existing houses. Climatec advise on all aspects of design and installation of environmental control systems
